Everybody in my women’s group is gallivanting. Madeleine reports her comings and goings from Assisi, Italy while Denise jots e-mail during her Macchu Picchu visit. Cherie headed for Arizona and Alice is Christmasing in North Carolina. As a rule, I’m usually home, but not this year: On December 15th, I’ll board a cruise ship in Galveston that’s destined for Belize, Ecuador and Mexico ports. The cruise is courtesy of my son who dislikes traveling alone, so I’m once again the recipient of his largesse. Home on Christmas day. Beats cleaning up holiday wrap, but someone has to make this sacrifice!
