I’m again raising a flag of hope: Chase extended the “must close by” date for my pending condo sale to November 14th and sent me a letter saying I am officially off the home loan division’s “intent to foreclose” list. Am I getting out party hats? Don’t be silly. I’ve been here before. But here’s what’s different: The attorney asked me to contact ComEd about stopping service on the 13th, so this is a first. Should the deal consummate this week, I feel compelled to say something nice about Chase, so here it is: Dealing with them didn’t kill me.
