Where’s Sartre When You Need Him?

No Exit
I am reminded of Jean Paul Sartre’s No Exit as I remain sequestered in the bowels of short sale hell after being thrown yet another curve ball this week: A unit in the building was foreclosed at $80K, which skews the valuation of all units in my building and could possibly end what seemed a done deal because the final appraisal has yet to be undertaken by the prospective buyer. To say that I’m longing to slime everyone at Chase for holding up negotiations so long would be an understatement. Practicing the Zen of condo short sales has gotten tougher.
