With Comcast, nothing’s easy. It took 1.5 hours by phone on Friday to transfer my land line/cable/Internet service to my new place in Champaign, and I’m not confident I’ll see a tech next Friday. The reason it took so long, according to my service rep, is that Comcast backs up internal systems on Friday, so staff systems function like turtle races. That stated, I’m glad I called in my order on Friday. Today is Saturday. My Comcast connection has been down for hours. Is this a bon voyage salute or is Comcast giving me the finger? Only time will tell.
