Pizza Worth the Drive

Plate of peppers
It figures I’d be on the cusp of moving when I discover the world’s perfect pizza, but I shall just have to make it a point to drive a couple of hours for perfection. Sun-dried tomatoes, chunky artichoke hearts, asparagus, onions and peppers are fire-roasted before they meet up with cheese and sauce atop a thin, crispy crust. People travel hundreds of miles to dine on culinary masterpieces. My tastes are simpler. Ergo, I’ll be happy to make the trip to Bulldogs in Carol Stream when my urge for pizza prompts to me to say, “The hell with gas prices.”
